
Background
Great Boulder Resources is an ASX-listed mineral exploration company focused on the discovery of large-scale gold resources in Western Australia. After learning about Ideaseed and their services, their Managing Director, a frequent presenter on the investor circuit, reached out needing a rapid refresh of their investor deck in the lead-up to the RIU Gold Coast Investor Roadshow.
While the existing presentation had been doing the rounds for a while, it needed a little love. The structure was a little unclear, some of the slides were too technical for general audiences, and visually it needed a bit of punch. With just one week until a high-profile investor event, it was time to bring in the pros.
What we did
We kicked off with a review of the existing deck, applying fresh eyes to simplify complex technical content and improve the story flow. Working within Great Boulder’s existing brand, we kept the colours and core design elements but elevated everything else.
We:
- Reorganised the content to clarify narrative and flow
- Visually reimagined key slides to make data digestible and investor-friendly
- Designed a suite of clean, on-brand layouts using high-quality imagery and iconography
- Helped bring to life tricky concepts like resource growth pipelines and prospect development stages
- Built a robust PowerPoint template in the background to ensure future decks could be just as polished
One particularly challenging slide was the “prospect pipeline” diagram, which the client had flagged as confusing. We reworked this to clearly segment their 1Moz growth strategy, highlighting the advanced and emerging targets in a way that made strategic sense at a glance.
Despite the tight deadline, we delivered the fully reimagined presentation in time for the Gold Coast event.
The result
Great Boulder’s MD was blown away by what we delivered. He walked into the RIU Investor Roadshow with a professional, investor-ready deck that clearly communicated the company’s potential and strategy.
In addition, he'll have a flexible, brand-aligned template that will support all future investor comms. It’s now easier for the internal team to produce polished, professional updates without needing to start from scratch each time.
