A sleek new brand rolled out into a full Microsoft Office suite

Background
TTW are structural and civil consulting engineers. Fresh from a rebrand, they had the design in hand and needed it rolled out properly across their whole Office suite, from the client-facing fee proposal down to a half-page project profile.
Most of TTW's output is dense, and their RFP responses need to fit within set page and presentation-time limits, so the type scale had to be sized for 100+ page reports rather than for a business intro deck. And like most engineering teams, the wider business rarely applies styles, reaching for the default MS bullet button at every opportunity. The templates had to make the right thing the easy thing.
What we did
We started with the premium PowerPoint, since it sets the visual direction for everything else. Once approved, the Word fee proposal was built to match, and that became the master every other Word template inherits from.
- Premium PowerPoint. Over 100+ layouts across the three ways TTW present: client and bid, internal, and workshop. Proper masters, layouts and styles behind the design, so every element sits on a real layout. We kept the alabaster background they like, added layouts built for pasting white-background technical drawings, and included their preferred icons as an asset slide at the back.
- Premium Word Proposal. Covers, dividers, automated contents, numbered headings, text, bullets, tables and appendix, with our DocuBuilder Toolbar ensuring document production is a breeze. Three separate proposal templates were reduced to one, and six office-specific versions to one more.
- A4 and A3 Reports. Built to work at 100-plus pages and deliberately pared back. The A3 was derived from the A4, so the two stay in lockstep on styles, numbering and DocuBuilder behaviour. A second document type that shared the same structure was folded into these as well, taking two templates down to one again.
- Basic template for shorter, simpler documents, pared further back with no DocuBuilder.
- One-page layouts. A CV, one-page and half-page project profiles, a letterhead and a Recent Experience template, all built to work on their own or slot into any document seamlessly.
The result
TTW were thrilled. Eight templates that all run off the same foundation, so a change to the brand or the content rules doesn't mean eight separate fixes.
The workflow they described now survives itself: the bid team builds the proposal, an engineer edits it, and it exports to PDF for the client with the design intact. Reports stay clean at 100 pages. And the new brand looks the same in Word and PowerPoint as it does everywhere else.
