A PowerPoint Deck and Slide Library That Means Business

Background

CapitaLand Investment (CLI) is a leading global real asset manager with a strong foothold in Asia. Headquartered and listed in Singapore, CLI connects institutional capital to real asset opportunities through its globally integrated fund management platforms. Following a significant rebrand built around the concept of "point of impact" - symbolised by a distinctive dot motif - their Private Funds Department (PFD) needed a slide library to match: polished, on-brand, and built for a global audience.

What we did

The brief was clear: 100 slides, a distinct PFD identity within the broader CLI brand system, and a plug-and-play solution that any team member could use without needing a design degree.

We built a comprehensive PowerPoint template and slide library that gave the PFD team everything they needed to produce professional, investor-grade materials in-house. The deliverables included:

100 fully editable slides across a range of layout types
Master slide setup with locked brand elements and preset colour themes for charts, tables, and editable elements
Fully editable maps in the new CapitaLand brand colours
A bespoke set of 30 icons
Both a PowerPoint Template (.potx) and a working PowerPoint file (.pptx)
A usage guidelines document covering do's and don'ts

Throughout the project, we worked closely with the PFD to balance two things that can sometimes pull in opposite directions: staying true to the parent brand while carving out a distinct visual identity for the department. The dot motif - central to CLI's "point of impact" concept - became a key design thread, adapted into PFD-specific backgrounds and layout treatments that felt fresh without straying from the system.

The result

The PFD walked away with a complete, ready-to-use PowerPoint deck and slide library designed for the realities of how their team works - producing pitchbooks, investor presentations, and stakeholder materials on tight deadlines. With locked brand elements, preset styles, and intuitive layouts, the team can now produce materials that look like they came out of a design studio, even when they didn't.

It was a pleasure working with the team on the development of our template.
